Magical Moment #13

Every fall my town held a Jazz Festival with 10 or so stages around town. Our quartet would show up and sing everywhere. We especially liked to take over a stage when a band took a break and half the audience would stay for our singing. One year there were four ladies who dressed in their finest from the 1920ís and when they found us they put beads around our necks and asked us to sing for them as they snuggled in between us. This was not tough duty . . . and the festival paid us $200 to have this much fun.
